Conures are such playful little clowns!  They are also very intelligent so it is important to keep them busy and provide them with all the mental stimulation and enrichment they would have if they lived in the wild.  You can often find them hanging upside down from a toy or crawling into a happy hut with one of their buddies.  They are generous enough to share treats like millet or nutriberries!  It reminds me of how humans share a bowl of chips!  Foraging toys provide them with a challenge to solve and a treat at the end.  Depending on where you live, you can bring the great outdoors inside.  You won't see Australians spending hundreds of dollars on a bottlebrush gym, we just go to the back yard and cut down a few branches.  If you take a flighted bird outside, be sure to have them in a harness or a flightsuit with a lanyard.  These little guys are excellent flyers and you don't want to lose them!  Here are some of my favourite photos of my conures (and a few of their mates) having a good time in their indoor feathered kingdom.
