Ixchel is a Nanday Conure born around October 2006.  She is "Miss Congeniality", in otherwords she gets along with everyone-both avian and human.   She is very snuggly and loves to be hugged.  Her name means "Mayan Moon Goddess". 

YAXCHE
Yaxche is a Jenday Conure born around August 2006.   He is "Mr Independant".  Nobody tells him what to do, he goes and does what he pleases.  He is fearless and into everything!  Not a cuddler with humans but he doesn't mind sharing his happy hut with Ixchel.    His name means "Mayan Tree of Life". 

CHULA
Chula  is a Green Cheeked Conure born on 7 Sept 2007.   She is  the original pint-sized parrot who thinks she is ten feet tall.  She is curious and confident.  She isn't cuddly with humans that much unless she is in the mood but she gets along well with all the other birds.    Her name means "Beautiful" in Puerto Rican Spanish.

XANGO
Xango is a Nansun Conure born around the end of June, 2008.   He is a hybrid which means his parents were two different species-a Nanday and a Sun Conure.  He's a cuddly little sweetheart!  As with all conures, he's  a little clown and loves to climb aorund the cargo net.  His name means "Brazilian Thunder God".

ORISHA
Orisha (Oh REE sha) is a Blue-Throated Conure (pyrrhura cruentata) born on 7 Sep 2008.   Her name means "Spirit" and she is named after the spirit gods of Brazil.  Blue-Throated Conures are not seen often in the USA but they are becoming popular in Australia because of their beauty and charming personalities.  Orisha doesn't seem to know she is a bird, she would rather be with humans than other birds, or maybe that is because we spoil her rotten!
